Sportsbetting - How to place bets on cricket

Cricket is a popular sport in the Asian subcontinent, Australia, South Africa and England and lot of cricket loving people place their bets on the One day international series between different teams, Test Matches and the more exciting T20 matches. With some more leagues in action, sportsbookies are allowing people to bet on the IPL and Champion League T20 tournaments.

Unlike sports like Football and Horse racing, it is much easier to bet on cricket. If you are a beginner to cricket betting, first you should know the rules of the game very well. You can bet on the tournament outcome, match outcome, and the performance of the individual players, the top batsmen etc. The important thing to discuss here is anyone who ever wishes to place their bet should do considerable research before placing their bet. They should check the weather condition and whether its going to rain on the match day and how its going to affect the playing teams, the condition of the pitch - how did the pitch behaved in the previous tournament, did it favour the batsmen or the bowlers? What kind of bowling - fast or spin? Whats the strength of both teams - which team has a good bowling line or batting line? Its always better to look at the historical data for cricket betting. While betting on any game what should be followed is your knowledge of the game and what your intuition or common sense says. If you are betting for the first time, start with less bets until you think you got good knowledge of the game and how the betting system operates.
